Walking is really good. Sometimes I take an ativan if it gets really bad. If I'm doing all the right things like exercising and watching comedies, going out with friends and I'm still stressed, then I know it's time to go on medication or go on a holiday. Get your blood pressure checked also. My stress levels are way down when my I'm on proper blood pressure medication. I take a beta blocker which slows down your heart beat which calms you down and relaxes you.

There are many methods like counting to ten and breathing ten times and such.I believe stress is from doubt, like you are so busy you can't do what you feel you havee to do or you are so aggravated that you don't want to deal with the person grating on your "nerves".You really have a choice in what emotion you are feeling and nothing in this world is so important that you should mentally torture yourself. It never solves the problem.Think about how big past problems from long ago seemed and remember that others have it worse than you. Some peopl are suffering in 3rd world countries so you really have no right to stress and worry.Think ,act and speak HAPPY!!

In order to calm down, first I identify what is upsetting me. Next I chose do occupy my time with another activity. For me, I answer others questions, walk, read, or go out. My ideas are to distance yourself from whatever is stressing you. Look for an avenue that otherwise illustrates your positive direction in order to avoid stress. Feeling good is a choice only you can make.

well I have a lot of stress in my life because my lil girl has a lot of problems since she's been born. Honestly the only thing that gets me through is cigaretts. I only smoke about a pack a day but they do help. I was also thinking about getting some nerve pills from the doctor they say that really helps people with stress problems too!

I walk my dogs, take a nice hot bath, exercise, listen to really loud music, read a good book, watch something funny on TV, or cook a gourmet meat. Sometimes, I will call a friend or my sister to talk about it.
Hope this helps!

I go somewhere alone and listen to my favorite music. Singing it helps. Also, I like to write when I'm stressed. It helps to write down how I'm feeling.

take shower and then listen to any good music. If both are not available, then just go for a walk or a drive...
