This may sound cynical but let's be honest... are there any good single men left?!? Now I'm not asking for much... Someone who is caring, compassionate, mid to late twenties, likes to laugh and go dancing, have Saturday morning sleep-in's together; Enjoys going for drinks now and then, dinner... movies; Someone who wants a relationship and is willing and mature enough to put a little effort into it. A man who takes his career seriously and respects that I do as well; someone who likes to travel with friends or just fly off for a romantic weekend break together. Do men like this still exist or have I just yet to meet one? Or maybe this is asking too much...? Thoughts, ideas or comments??

There are men out there who are like you described. My wife was surprised to find one, but has been deleriously happy she did for the last 6 years. She was 29 when we met, and I was in my late 30's. So, be open to the possibility that the man you are looking for isn't exactly the same age as you. It takes guys a while (sometimes a very long while) to mature, and what you are really describing is a guy who isn't a kid anymore.
Don't give up. Don't settle for less than "an adult". There are a lot of diamonds left in the vein of coal you've been shopping in.

A maximum decisive and resounding NO! Chivalry isn't useless, in spite of the undeniable fact that it has frequently fallen by employing the wayside because human beings do not recognize what to do with it even as this is offered. Gallantry is now incorrect for creepiness.

Unfortunately the standards in today's society have diminished. There is no one factor that has caused this just a sign of the times. People are so out for themselves that they forget the golden rule. Do unto others.... I've found that if I treat others like I'd like to be treated then the standard is set and usually the people that gravitate towards me are the kind I'd like to keep around for a while.... just a thought! Good Luck!

Sorry, but I do not believe there are single men like that left. Chivalry seems to be dead and gone. All the men left are not horrible, mind you, but the perfect man you are describing is one I have never encountered.

Possibly. I used to be the romantic guy like that. Most friends of mine used to mock me and were just into screwing as many girls as they can. Well later I saw I was alone and here these guys had companionship each night and later kids, even though they didn't want them. So I decided maybe an approach more like theirs is better. whats the use in trying to be a gentleman when no one seemed to appreciate it?

I don't think it exsists to that extent.. to a smaller extent it's still around here.. somewhere.. swept under a rug. I've met men with a few of the above atributes but rarely all of them... but do we really need all of the above - no.
