Well from your question it sounds as if the person has lived through it, so if God kept them alive, it is for a reason and a purpose that they wouldnt yet know.
If they ended up dying anyway, maybe just maybe God was giving them one last chance to reflect on what was truely important and making peace with God himself.
Could be many reasons a person lived through that terrible day, we would have no idea what those reasons are.

Why did Jesus institute sacraments to assist us in our salvation if all we had to do replaced into profess our perception in him one time? Jesus mentioned that the Eucharist forgives sin (Matthew 26:28), Confession forgives sin (John 20:22-23, and the final Rites forgive sin (James 5:14-15). Salvation happens in our previous: Romans 8:22-24 Ephesians 2:4-8 Salvation is happening now: 2 Corinthians 2:15 Phillipians 2:12 a million Peter 3:21 Salvation happens sooner or later: Romans 5:9-10 a million Corinthians 3:12-15 Matthew 24:13 the respond is that I even have been stored, i'm being stored, and that i've got the desire that i would be stored, on the same time as I paintings out my salvation with concern and trembling. in accordance to the Bible, "being stored" isn't a one time experience. One significant concern to remember .............. we are forbidden to decide people, ( Matthew 7:a million), which is composed of ourselves! whilst people say "i'm stored", they are judging themselves, that's merely the activity of Jesus Christ on the merely precise judgment.

Sin was the hijackers flying those planes into the towers.
The blood of a Christian dying due to those circumstances would be on the hands of the perpetrators. The Christian is innocent in such events.

Yes. It is still a sin. It says in the Bible "Thou shalt not kill," which would include killing of yourself.
