I'm in college and its hard as heck!!!
but I do about an hour and a half to two hours every other day.
on alternate days I do a pretty good ab workout.
It's helping me fight the bulge up here!
Day 1
begin with stretching.
5-10 mins cardio
35-45 mins straight training
1-1:30 hour of more cardio
end with stretching.
Day 2
alternate day...
ab workout.
cruch.
reverse cruch
clam shell crunch
planks and
a variety of other ab stuff I learned how to do. I alternate alot, as long as you just do them you will be fine. I do stuff as I remember it.

My ideas? Try to do 200 minutes of cardio a week. Remember fat does not turn into muscle, so you need to lose your fat while putting on muscle. Work hard, but don't over 60 minutes at a time. Do planks and other abs exercises on alternate days.
On training days, do 5-10 minutes of cardio to warm up, then do your weight training. Do 30 to 60 minutes more of cardio, then go home.
The best time to eat is just after your workout within an hour when your metabolism is raging. For your muscles, incorporate some isolated soy protein or whey protein. Whey is more potent but the soy tastes better!
Don't look at your scale as the be all and end all, but get a measuring tape to check your progress, and that will show more tangible results.
Read magazines like Shape, Womens Fitness, Fitness, etc to get tips and to stay motivated.
Good luck and stick at it. This plan has lost me 20 lbs in 12 weeks so far, just go for it!

I hate exercise for the sake of exercise. (ie jogging, treadmills, stairclimbers, etc) so I turn to sports to stay in shape. I play soccer all summer long in a mens league and that combined with a fairly physical job and work around my home keeps me in shape. In the winter, it's time to pull on the skates and play some hockey or the sneakers for broomball. Turns out exercise doesn't have to be boring. If it's not fun, I won't be found doing it.

cardio 3 to 4 days a week, usually about 45 min... pilates twice a week, yoga once a week, and body sculpt a couple of times a week.
eat lots of fruit, veggies and high fiber cereal in the morning.
every friday night after i get off work i have a few hours that i can eat whatever i want... icecream, cookies, whatever... that's my designated naughty food time. usually from 8pm to 10pm.

2 Easy Steps
1. Exercise raises your metabolism and therefore helps control your weight.
2. Eating more often in smaller amounts helps increase your metabolism.
if you’re consistent with daily activity and eating frequent small meals you’ll see dramatic weight loss results in a just few weeks!
