There are no christian countries with the possible exception of the vatican. Western countries all seperate church from state and have rejected christian teachings such as witch burning, slavery, stoning non-believers and such. A few centuries ago when you actually did have christian countries many non-christians were killed for heresy.

Let's start with the fact that the only officially Christian countries are England and Rome, which have the Anglican Church and the Catholic Church as the official state religion.

Other countries may be predominantly Christian, but I don't know of any others that declare that chuch to be the official state church.

That being said, you're not talking about religions. You are talking about countries. And whether a country is predominantly Christian or Islamic or anything else, that country is going to have laws that say what you can and cannot discuss or preach.

And there are many heavily Islamic countries where you can preach Christianity freely, because speech is protected. Turkey and India being two examples. And both England and Australia are in the process of limiting or partially outlawing Islam. So, it all depends on the country's laws, which are not always tied to religion.

A Christian country? There's an important distinction between a Christian country and a country with a majority Christian population. Just as not every country with a high Muslim population is a Muslim country. Indonesia has the highest population of Muslims in the world, but has a secular government and there are more Christians there than in Australia. The bottom line is that people of all religions are bound by the laws of the country they're in. If that country prohibits preaching a certain religion then you can't do it.

The notion that Christianity can not be preached in a Muslim country is absurd. The simple fact is that if a christian missionary was to go to a country like Pakistan (for example) they would have a tough time trying to get their message across as the majority of the audience is Muslim and strong in their beliefs, therefor being a fruitless activity and a waste of money.
It should be noted that the adherents of Christianity are the largest religious minority community in Pakistan, numbering around 1.6 million people, or 1% of Pakistan's entire population.

As for your second statement about peoples rights, this is far too vague a statement for me to give a sensible answer.

Where on earth do you get that information from? Have you visited any moslem country? Did you know that Saddam Hussein's deputy was a Christian? I've visited the Vatican but didn't see any Moslems preaching.

That's not true. When Muslim people preach they do it for the Muslims only and so do the Christians . There are a lot of Christians in the every country in Middle East.

The same reason anyone can do one thing in one country and not in another - the law. Britain has a national church, but is pretty much a secular society. Most Muslim countires are theocracies, or at least have the Shariah as a clear influence on their law.

Freedom of speech is not a right or a privilege in all countries, one must choose wisely what one says; when one is in a foreign country. Fro instance it is against the law the speak against the monarchy in England; to do so one must on a box, or a ladder.
But best of all, one should never "Preach" any religion, it is a choice given to MAN to choose what he/she wants to believe.

An established "Christian country" deserves to be torn down to its knees just as much as an Islamic country deserves destruction. Religion needs not influence any government.
