Listen sugar,if he's ur best friend,make sure first that this is not infatuation.When u r sure,ask him about his feelings for u in a nice wrapped up manner.Then if he confesses,u r in luck,if he does not,tell him that u r in love with someone.If he seems jealous/something not correct type looks,bullseye,shoot it out there and then.If he does not,u have already built ur fort and now say it loud and clear.Access the situation,if he says a no,put a stone on ur heart and say it was a prank that u were playing on him.This way,you would have tested him and saved your friendship as well.Well i am now giving u something that u'll require the most.BEST OF LUCK and remember there r no free lunches.So either be prepared to the worst part and hope for the best or be where u r at Least u have a friend.

Take it slow.... don't rush into things... take time to find out whether he likes u or not... change the way you talk to him a bit, flirt a little, see if he responds... his being single doesnt necessarily mean he's interested...
more importantly, take time to find out if u really like him or is it just a passing phase... try spending more time with him and the like
i wont ask u to go n tell him, in my humble opinion that is like suicide, dont tell him, show him tht u care, in little ways, make him realise that u care, if he's interested, he will let you know too....

Tell him how you feel about him, you never know he may like you back! but be carefull, if you do go out with him, make sure you NEVER end the realationship badly, because then you might loose a good friend

as you told he is your friend then you and he sit and chat when u got sometime. then ask about his liking what kind of girl he preffers. note that is it is like you or make some fun on that if you think he tell lies and a day comes when he tolds you. go a head. intezar ka fall medha hota hai.

accept my advice: there is no such thing as just good friends between a straight man and woman; one always likes the other but is scared to admit it in case they scare them off.
It is no suprise when you are good friends with someone and enjoy their company for feelings to develop, in fact it is a certainty.
