cuz artists dont usually do it for the money. they do it because its what they love to do.

Because we honestly don't have any choice in the matter!

All artists are driven by a need to create. Regardless of whether we will make fame or fortune in our own lifetimes, we just have to do it.

I paint and earn an income from it, but it is not as much as if I were a Doctor or a Teacher. However, it is what I absolutely have to do.

Anyway, if I get the big money when I 'm dead, my kids will be thrilled - they might just get an inheritance!

At last if i make money after i die my student debt will be wiped off and my family can benefit. Still in the mean time I'll get a job in a shop and try to gather enough money together to start my own business.

To be an artist you can't think on money. You must love art.

Someone tried to make money but the people didn't understood their art. See Monet,Van Goog and all the artists of his time...
Michelangelo was one of the artist who died with money. He had a strong character and asked much for his fantastic works...

That's not true in today's modern art world. Plenty of artists are making a fortune and enjoying it. I know 12 personally. I'm sure there's more . because there are literally thousands of artists in the world , if not tens of thousands.Just go to a local art gallery in your area and ask them when is the next artist show,where you can meet and talk to these extremely talented and successful people.

If you are an artist you can make money while you'r alive. After you die, you become more famous!

Some people work for passion, some for $... Most artists don't get the obsession with $, just like you don't get theirs...
