Tequila, but if you are going to Mexico it needs to be the cheapest, vilest stuff you can find.

If it is more than two dollars a bottle, you ain't in the right spirit here. You are going for the stories, not good taste or you would find a wine bar or a place that has a bunch of imports or a nice sports bar. But you want the big leagues!!!!

Gotta do the donkey show too. It is life altering. Trust me.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY! My favorite drink these days is a Mango Margarita or Mango Daquiri. Since you will be going to a Mexican Restaurant, the Margarita is better. The difference between a 'rita and a daquiri is the booze. Margaritas are made with Taquila and Daquiris are made with Rum.

Patron shot for sure.

Be careful not to drink TOO many Ritas...they sneak up on you.

Also watch what you eat...make it light.

But make sure you get a late night snack to kill that hangover.

Drink lots of Water too...in between

have fun..good luck

You can get Taquila in the U.S.

Why don't you just go any local Mexican bar, and ask for their specialty?

Who knows, if they offer any distinctive "mixed drinks" of their own in Mexico.

Good luck!
