You know what, i think you should do whatever you want to do reguardless of whether we say go for it or not. If you seriously are inlove with this girl then you are going to want to meet her so why not go for it. An age gap of 6years is not much and you sound like a mature guy for you're age, and you know what they say "age is just a number". At 21 no one has it all figured out yet (i'm 21 myself) and i ain't figured it all out yet but at some point you will and it don't have to be right now, you are still young. Nothing weird about meeting ppl online as it happens all the time and can work out really well for some ppl but you should take that risk or you'll never know, will you. I think you should go for it! and if anyone says don't go and see her then don't listen as you will regret it, although, i think you've already made up you're mind haven't u!

It's not wierd to meet people online these days. I think it's alot safer than it was 5 years ago.
One thing however is the large gap in your age. She is an older women and like you said she's already settled or looking to settle. She needs someone with income and security. I'm not saying you two won't work out. I assume you are a young and very attractive young man. However can you be sure it's not just lust? You live too far from each other to give it a shot in my opinion. I say let go of this fantasy and grab reality and start your life at your level.
Don't jump into this. Don't ruin your life by running off to meet someone you "think" you know you will have a wonderful life with.

I met my guy on-line, and we talked for two years before it became more than chat buddies. It is possible. I'd be careful though, because sometimes people are more comfortable typing a conversation, than they are in person. I'm not saying they aren't, but just be aware that things may not be exactly as they seem. I would be sure and talk on the phone, and maybe web-cam if you can. If you both have talked about yourself to the other, then she knows all about you. I wouldn't worry about about it, or the very small age difference.

It isn't weird to meet on line. I met my husband on line and he was all the way in Australia! Long story short, we have been happily married for 10 years now. Without the Internet we would have never met. She is only 6 years older, and emotionally men are always more immature than women. Meet her, see where it goes!

Personaly I can't say if I would ever meet anyone off of the internet. But I can tell you, my dad met my stepmom off of the internet. She lived in Flordia, she came to visit, they did this off anf on for 2 years, then she finaly moved out here to be with him! They got married a year later, they are so in love its crazy!
