She ate four slices of bread with some greenish fungus in the sides... its been one hour but she is home alone and feelin scared.. we're called a nurse but she asks us to talk to poison control.. but its been one hour, could someone tell us some home remedies?? Please... its Urgent!! please..

If anything is going to happen ,she will vomit and have diharrhea. She may not even get sick. She will be fine. She ate mold, penicillin is made from mold. Alot of cheeses (blue cheese) has mold and it is safe to eat. Don't worry.

Did the bread she eat actually have the green fungus on the sides, or just the rest of the bread in the bag had it? If Im not mistaken, its just mold that grows on old bread, I don't know if its anything serious, my man ate some the other day, but the slices he ate didnt have the mold, only the ones on the end of the bag, we ended up tossing it of course, but he's ok, he was just grossed out for a little bit. If ur worried, just do as the nurse told u, but like i said i dont think its anything serious. Good Luck!!!!

Lol! Man that used to be a game I played when I was a kid! Who could be made to eat the moldy bread. It ain't no big thing, it is just a little mold. Think of it as blue cheese! If she is really worried, tell her to drink a can or two of coke. The acidity in the real thing will kill any bacteria from the mold. No harm done.

A little moldy bread isn't anything to worry about. Drink some milk if she's that worried. I've eaten moldy bread before and other than tasting squirlly it didn't hurt me at all. I do not think she has to worry. People have eaten a lot worse and lived.
