if u make gravy put some of the grease in the gravy . Also dogs love it poured over their food. not to healty though so make it a treat for them. U can put a dash in ur mashed potatos. Makes them more creamy. YUM

You can make country style breakfast gravy. All you need is bacon fat/grease some flour, corn starch, salt, pepper and milk and don't forget to make some biscuits as well :)

Biscuits, fried asparagus, kale or chard, saute the onions and garlic for a split pea or 15 bean soup. Really, anything that needs some form of grease and you want that good bacon flavor!

Well the old southern way is to heat it up, and pour it over fresh greens*, we also have used to season baked beans, and in cooking dried beans.... but honestly, I'd get rid of it!! That junk really isn't good for you ~ and may cause you to end up having some major by-pass surgery later on in life to fix a clogged artery.

If you clean it, you can mix it with lye and make soap. OR biodeisel.
I save bacon fat toward the holidays and mix herbs with t and rub it under the skin of my turkey to make a flavourful turkey. (not too much though, that stuff is PACKED with calories)
