I am really casual and was thinking of a pair of medium rinse blue jeans, a black top and black nikes or a pair of light rinse blue jeans, a white top (more feminine than the black one) and white nikes. I'm going w/ my BF and he's casual as well. Does this sound okay?

Well it really depends.. yes these are casual resteraunts and I'v been in both and seen people come in in shorts and a T-shirt. it really depends on what the dinner is for. is it to go out.. have fun or just catch a meal? if its "to go out" why not dress up just a bit (both of you). wear a nice (not formal, but a nice looking) dress. have him wear something besides jeans - slacks? kaki pants? and somethning that has a collar.

I know its a little much for 'casual' but you can dress up a bit and stil be casual and it adds a lot to the evening because you both know you dressed up for the other just a bit without going overboard.
