First, stop bleaching it if you are. Second, use a leave-in conditioner before any other product and minimize the use of heat while styling.
Spend the $$ and go to a beauty supply store and talk to someone about good deep conditioners. You may have to use them more often than once a week, but it will be worth it to have soft hair... I like S Factor deep conditioner, it smells like strawberries!

I colour my hair often, blow dry and use flat iron. I highly recommend a product by AG hair cosmetics called Fast Food. Its a leave in hair conditioner and works wonders in restoring dry damaged hair.
Also if you do blow dry and flat iron a lot, use a protection on your hair before like IV Cosmeceuticals " Deflect". Its a thermal protective spray that you apply before drying and flat ironing, its great. Trust me I have very thin, fine hair and this stuff works wonders.
Also, one last tip, avoid using any pharmacy bought shampoos ( too many added chemicals). Splurge a bit and buy salon shampoos and conditioners. GOOD LUCK!

I get a weave once a month! So trust me my hair is damaged, but by looking at it you wouldn't be able to tell, I use Biosilk. You can get it at like Sallys beauty supply, and hair salon, its cheap! it last forever. just be careful because if you put it in the roots it will get your hair greesie, but you can put as much as you want on the ends. It works great :) Good luck!

no theres not..there are ones that can help though...How much are you trimming when you get it cut..if its really damaged you need to cut at least 2 inches at a time...the only way to get it to feel healthier is to use the proper conditioner for your hair...no cheap stuff...that includes panteine...try biologe conditing balm or redken butter treatment....make sure the products you are using do not cantain alcohol either...try more smoothing serums over mousse and hairspray or gel.

you need to have it trimmed every 4-6 weeks...... my hair it the same.... also use "lusters pink lotion" it is in the black hair section...put it all over your hair ...ends mainly cause it keeps em strong and prevents them for getting to brittle a weak.... i do that and rmy hair use to be bad at the ends casue i blow dried my hair straight alot.... and use a thick conditioner (pantene or treseme`) leace it in for 5 min and then rinse i also put conditioner on my end and leave it on.... that should help alot....
