Please send a link to any company that sells contact lens insurance. Or any direction on where I can buy it will help. Dr's office and optical store were no help. Thanks!

p.s. i had to have customized contacts made due to my astigmatism. i just picked them up - $500! if i lose one of them, i might as well poke a stick in my eye.

p.s.2 they are not disposable - gas permeable toric (sp?) toriq? torique?

p.s.3 would they be covered under homeowner's insurance??

Contacts are cheap and disposable nowadays, so why would you need insurance on them?

When I got my contacts I brought the insurance at the doctor's office I brought the contacts - I guess you could check the yellow pages and call some insurance offices and ask them!@

You should ask your optician for disposables. 30 day contact lenses are fresher each time you use them and if you lose one it's not a big deal. https://www.vspdirect.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Fall2013iPlan This website is called VSP, I think the cost is reasonable especially since you need customizations. Also if your prescription is current you can always order a backup box of disposables online. Just type in the brand you want to buy and upload your prescription. just search around for yours. Ouch I looked at this one but hey I found them for you :)http://www.visiondirect.com/proclear-multifocal-toric-custom-lens/qxp213734

Sorry, there is no known insurance for contacts. The risk of loss and damage is too high so no one would insure them.

Do they even make contact lens insurance? I have never heard of it.

SINCE WHEN?

TWO OF MY CHILDREN HAD TO WEAR CONTACT LENSES AND WE BOUGHT THE INSURANCE FROM THE SAME PLACE WE BOUGHT THE CONTACT LENS- THE OUTER OFFICE OF THE DR.'S OFFICE-- TRYING TO MAKE IT LOOK LIKE TWO DIFFERENT PLACES BUT IT WAS THEIR 'OPTICAL DEPARTMENT'!

WHEN YOU RECEIVED THE 'FEATURES ON YOUR 'CONTACT LENS', YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN GIVEN AN
OPTION TO BUY INSURANCE FOR THEM!

IT WORKED FOR US! I CANNOT BELIEVE THAT IT DOESN'T WORK ANYMORE!
