Personal, social and emotional skills, along with communication are the most important. If you have no social or personal skills you will not be able to achieve the goals adequately. You will not be able to interact with others positively if you cannot communicate to a level that is socially acceptable. We all need to learn from others and to make us more successful learners we need to have excellent social, personal, emotional and communication skills.

They are all equally important. I don't think we can categories them, because in each learning area you would have all of them.
For example, a child is playing in the Home corner:
1. PSE- learning to take turns;
2. MD- counting fruits, numbers on the telephone...
3. Creative- imaginative play, pretending to be mummy or baby,
4. KUW- everyday life, things around us, understanding how the world works;
5. LLC- kids role play, they use lots language and share the ideas with each other, learning from each other, socialising & etc.

SOcial interraction is the most basic of communication and foundation for learning. The children need to learn how to interract with children and adults, to follow social mores, role modeling, etc. in order to acquire further knowledge in life. Look up Piaget for stages of learning.

They build up a curriculum when used *together*, one is not more important than another, children need a wide variety of activities, catering to ALL six, for a balanced and happy foundation stage.

i would probably say social,emotional and personal if i had to pick, if a child is able to interact with others and feel comfortable within themselves then they are more likely to be able to excel in all the other areas aswell. although they are all important in their own ways., they all interlink really though

personal, social and emotional physical- seeing as this is important in the development of the child as he/she grows up and as human development is crucial in determining the type of person they will inevitably become as adults. therefore, life skills are ever so important- not just in education and work, but also during their lives as well

all of these things make a well rounded child. A good loving environment where a child can interact with others and feel safe and loved will blossom on their own.
