I want an afro but i have straight hair. how can i have it wihout a perm or a wig.

a great way is to first wash your hair and then put really tight coils (which are tight curls) you can use long thin rollers or even strips of paper to keep it in. with your hair damp of course. if you air dry it leave it in for a few days otherwise just go under a hair dryer. then take them out. dont comb. and to take out the curls when your done just wet ur hair and comb it out

wrap your hair on small perm when wet with just mousse or setting lotion...let them dry and when you take them out, pick out your hair and it will be an afro that will last untill you wash it

roll your hair up in little bitty curlers everynight....lol but um if it is permenant then you gonna have to get a perm

roll wet hair up in really really tight small rollers and sleep overnight in them (it is uncomfortable)

hmmmmm...that is a good question!since my hair is naturally kinky, curly, afroish i never have to worry about stuff like this. good luck!!

wash it then blow dry it with out any hair products. If that doesn't work, get cornrows, it might look cute on you :-)

-wet your hair.. use scrunching or curling mousse.. blow dry it.. and hope for a humind day!

- use curlers and hairspray.
