hi all
can any body give me complete details regarding transfer of ownership of commercial vehicle in delhi. i have heard that govt. has banned for purchasing second hand commercial vehicle . Actually i waana put a second hand commercial vehicle(tavera) in call centre . how exacltly i can get the car ownership. i also wanna know that what r the rules going in delhi for the phasing out of commercial vehicles(i.e how old car i can buy) . also i wanna know that what r the rules for conversion of private no in to commercial no and vice versa. If u people can not provide all this information then let me know from where i can get more information (from which website or department). please help me

What is the procedure for registration of commercial vehicle?

All commercial / transport vehicles are registered with the M.L.O at the Head Quarter of the transport department, where the application is to be made with the following requirement.

1. L.O.I issued from S.T.A Branch.
2. Form no. 20, Form no.21 and Form no. 22.
3. Certificate of fitness issued by the board of inspectors from inspection pit Burari.
4. Attested copy of the address proof.
5. Attested copy of the insurance certificate / covernote.
6. Form no. 34 (in case the vehicle is purchased on loan)
7. Road tax as applicable.
8. Prescribed fee for registration.
(vehicle like TSR & Taxi are registered at inspection pit Burari)
