I think you mean Low emmisions. This is basically how clean your car runs. Some states Like CA are really strict while others arent. Most cars are equipped with smog pumps and several sensors to adjust air.fuel ratios and also monitor the O2 being genereated by the car. check this site for further information

It's low "emissions" and emissions are basically the exhaust fumes that come from your car. A tune up may help or you may need all of or part of your ehaust system repaired or replaced. All this depends on your state regulations, you should check with the people whom inspected your car and see if they can trace the problem.

Low admissions? Maybe you mean "emissions?" Low emissions would not be a problem. High emissions would be. You need to check the failure notification slip for more information. It should explain it right there in black and white.

Emissions, what pollution is coming out of your exhaust. Get a second opinion! Low emissions is good, high emissions is bad, and stay in school!

An explanation of what was out of specification should have also been provided. Based on that, a diagnostics and repair procedure can be outlined and the cost to fix it can be determined. Sometimes it is reasonable, sometimes it is very expensive.
