Why is it that some people in the towns are way better than any one else. What makes you SO special being the mayors daughter, and I mean she is like in her 30's and still flaunts her daddy around town and his money.. Anyone have a answer and not a rude answer. Im just really confused. What makes her any differend from me. A local business owner.

Not all small towns are like that. The town I live in has 900 people. The mayor has a couple of sons. They are the nicest family you could think of. Nobody here "flaunts" who they are or what they do. Just a small town who treats one another like family.

there is status that goes along with being any politician or related to a politician. probably the fact that her father gets a good paycheck helps, along with the fact that since the mayor is a high profile job, everyone knows the mayor's family to an extent. the easy recognition granted by that helps, along with the fact that some people are swayed by popularity or presumed power. nothing makes her any better than you, it's just a difference in how people see you. not everyone knows who you are, and you don't have as much popularity holding over from childhood (I'm guessing.) in reality you're probably the better off one, because when her father is no longer mayor, she'll just be an ex. you'll still be who you are, and won't have to rebuild a social image.

I am from a small town, and if you don't have alot of money, you are a piece of s***. It sucks, but there's really nothing that can be done about it.
