Absoultely. They were a part of your life. Something you are comfortable with for a while. It takes time, but someone else will fill that emptiness. RIght now, all you do is go meet people and hang out with friends. It's not gonna always help, but it'll slowly heal.

YES! omg its the WORST feeling there is. Its a feeling of emptyness, helplessness because u cant do anything about it, longing to change something you cant, broken up inside, empty but strong on the outside, and very lost. I had that feeling alot in my life and the ONLY thing that can heel it is time and a new way of living to get on, OR do all the things that that person who left would do. examples(always write with a red sharpie, always smiling, has a certain way of doing things like cooking, etc.) Im so sorry, i hope you are able to get off that feeling soon. Good luck!

Of course it is. When you are use to something, and it is no longer there, of course you are going to feel empty and alone. Even if you have many friends or family members by your side, it is hard to deal with the loss of a person or relationship.
It hurts for a while, but not forever.

Yes, completely. Unfortunately, time seems to be the only cure. That feeling is really unavoidable in life- it seems that we all lose someone at some point or another and it is, initially, agony. After awhile, however, you no longer long for the person and revise and adjust your life to not having him/her involved. Be happy that the person has left and did not waste any more of your time...

loneliness and emptiness are different
loneliness happens when there are some traces left in mind
an analogy will be your sugar container , so when you are out of sugar you still have tiny granules of sugar left . Now substitute sugar with “someone” and container with mind .. ( you should know wat iam saying by now)
Emptiness is something assigned to null . Its like a new container brought from Tesco. Doesn't have any traces of things left
therefore answer to your question is it can happen eventually from lonelyness to emptiness , but when u undergo this metamorphosis there will be a release of energy , this energy is wat i call the so called depression catalyst. visit my sitefor more info

Of course!
Thankfully there are some things to fill the void. I can't imagine if I didn't have television, books and the Internet when my wife moved out. It was crushing, but I tried not to dwell on but let some time pass while a reconciled the idea that we both failed.
