Men who treat women like dirt also know how to lie about who they really are...Men usually put that part of their personality aside until they know each other a little better and are comfortable treating her like that without worrying about being confronted, By that time the woman is like what the hell? Where did my boyfriend go? Now this is the time where you witness it so you can complain later about how nice guys finish last..what you didn't see is he was wonderful in the beginning. And you will also not notice that she will leave him on her own time. Your too busy worrying about YOUR chance and how much better you think you are for her. She obviously doesn't think you are, so leave her alone.

I don't get it myself but some of my friends have told me that that's how I can get a girl. Sorry- I'm a nice guy. If that means I finish last... well... then I finish last. I'd rather treat a woman like an equal and a queen. So far that has left me without a relationship for 14 years but hey- who's counting?

I think there's attraction to that wild side. You're curious. I know being treated like dirt shouldn't be curious, it should be obvious. Right now it's the bad boys turn. In time though, the good guys won't finish last anymore. It's a vicious cycle...

I'd like to think of myself as a nice guy.. I always make the effort to treat my lady right... Having said that I've gotten "burnt" on more than one occasion..
As a guy I don't understand women - but that's fine. I believe that men aren't supposed to understand women and vice versa (sp.?)..
I find that as a "good guy" I tend to have loads of female friends (friends) - and not so much with the actual partnering...
But that's fine..
I think some women go for blokes that treat them poorly cause they have low selfesteem and being put down comes across as a confirmation of their low self esteem... blokes that put women down deserve a quick kick up the backside.

Some women love it. They wanna be told what to do because they can't think for themselves. They feel the guy must really are if hes always bossing her around.
Women with high self-esteem and self respect would never be with a man that treats them poorly.
Women with no self respect and low self-esteem are happy any man is with them no matter how poorly he treats her.
You just gotta find the right woman for you

Certainly not all women, but a significant number of them. I think these women often have low self esteem, and a 'bad boy' may make them excited and feel wanted for a while. However, she often discovers too late into the relationship that he's a lowlife and abusive, and she can't get out of the relationship without emotional scars.

My son just asked me the same question last week.He said he's gonna quit being nice and start being a jerk(like his Dad, my ex) I hope he was just teasing.I have a good man now and he is always good to me.Maybe it takes getting older to appreciate a good , nice man.I guess I use to go for the a$$holes too, but time has taught me alot of lessons in love.I will never put up with being treated bad again.Life is too short.

Cause bia's are dumber than guys think they are, you can go up to a complete stranger (female) and have an attitude and be rude and they will more likely go home with you than with the polite "nice guy" which I find funny, especially cause I cxan now freely treat girls like **** and get rewarded, lol nice

Not all women do. It tends to be younger girls who then come to their senses and grow out of it! I think it's a fear of commitment mixed with a lack of self worth. If you are a nice guy and you are asking this question because you are single and fed up with all the bad guys getting the girls, then please just be patient and don't change. The bad guys might get the girls, but they don't tend to get the lasting, decent, enjoyabe relationships.

Honest to god, I think it is a mother instinct thing. I think they think they will see the best in the man and he will turn into a prince instead of the turd he is. I wish they'd stop it. It is terribly annoying. Some of it too is that they were mistreated growing up and think it is a normal part of a loving relationship. Whatever the reason, I hate it.
