Through lack of understanding, people believe that I, the Unmanifest, have entered into some form. They fail to realize my true nature, which transcends birth and death. Few see through the veil of maya. The world, deluded, does not know that I am without birth and changeless. I know everything about the past, the present, and the future, Arjuna; but there is no one who knows me completely.

-Bhagavad Gita 7:24-26

I like all quotes from Geeta.

But first line should be translated a little differently:

"I am never manifest to the unintelligent. For them I am covered by My eternal creative potency [yoga-maya]; and so the deluded world knows Me not, who am unborn and infallible"

"They fail to realize my true nature, which transcends birth and death. Few see through the veil of maya. The world, deluded, does not know that I am without birth and changeless. I know everything about the past, the present, and the future, Arjuna; but there is no one who knows me completely."

Well reading Geeta should improve your mood a bit. At least it will give you different kind of philosophy to think about

PS:Please perovide me the link, if possible , wherever you quoted from.

You know what? I am an unbeleiver, and really, I appreciate reading this quote :-)

I like the concept of "Unmanifest" far better than the concept of "deity, god".

I think it is also because I resonate with ancient greek mythology a lot, and that I used to get "Khaeos" as nickname, i.e. the Nothingness-Entity that pre-existed everything, and who is the great-great-grand-parent of Zeus.

Well, I don't know which spiritual/religious this quote refers to, but I am sure that it can bring you lots of precious landmarks in your life.

My temper is blah immediately too...quantity one because of the fact i'm somewhat drained, quantity 2 because of the fact my chemistry instructor replaced into being a soreness at school, and quantity 3 because of the fact I even have chemistry coursework to do. i'm hoping the next day would be greater powerful, I hate being in a foul temper!

there is no mortal who will ever know everything about anything as this is impossible for mortals. we are all traveling this plane of existence as a learning experience. we are charged to exchange our wisdom and knowledge to each other in order to teach and learn. then take this wisdom and knowledge and expand same as we try to continue teaching those who are coming after us like we have learned from those who have come before us and who are here at the present time.
