First. Definition poor: i'm a student, and havent got so much cash...sure i get by, but i doubt that a girlfriend would fit into my budget. or am i seeing things the wrong way? do girls need a guy who has cash and can buy them gifts all the time or isnt it that important ??

what do you think? girls would rather have a guy who loved them and cared for them, than a guy who bought them gifts all the time but was a jackass...money does not matter, unless the girl is shallow. as long as your not broke and rolling in debt than there is no problem! as long as your a nice guy and take care of yourself then, money will never be a problem
and anyways its 21st century, she should pay for her part when you guys are going out!

When a man buys females gifts, expensive dinners, etc., the man is buying the females love, and when they are together for a short time or a long time it is expected. Don't go down that road, if you can afford to buy her a cup of coffee, do so. Or go to places that are free, a walk in the park, down to the beach, etc. Your studies and an education are more important than wining and dinning a female at this time. Down the road you will be able to afford two cups of coffee and it will be worth the Star bucks price.

I think you are seeing things the wrong way. Females who NEED a guy who has cash are only using him for his money. It's not a true relationship. Personally I dont care how much money a guy has, i care about his personality and how he treats me. I cant stand it when a guy pays for me to go out eating nevermind gifts. i dont need gifts. They are nice yes. but why spend money on ur girlfriends necklace when you can pay ur bills and stay out of debt.

I am taken, but I dated a guy for a long time that didn't work. He was not healthy but he treated me wonderful. He did odd jobs to take me out but my best memories of him are when we would go to the park and swing, feed the ducks, just walk and talk it was the best of times I have ever had.
Money can buy a lot but it can't buy happiness and I truly believe that.
If you have to fit a girl into your budget then she is not the right girl for you.

Relationships should be about companionship, not about what you can buy each other. Sadly, a lot of people are materialistic. But if the girl is worth being with, she won't care how much money you have anyway.
