signed onto Yahoo Answers....it said "You're down by 9 points" :-O What does that mean? Is it coz of a violation?

Yeah, it sucks getting dinged for a violation. You just need to stick to the community guidelines, that's all. If you don't know the guidelines, the link in my sources will tell you all you need to know.
I regularly report people for violating the guidelines, usually for posting "questions" whose only purpose is to inflame, not to seek an answer. I don't report every ticky-tacky little violation, but when ya see egregious violations every day, ya gotta do something!

yep. 9 points is not a lot, compare to -15 points with 4 questions!!! i got that before.. =(
