I think you're thinking too much about that when it's not needed. Who cares of the majority of high school loves are short termed? IT's usually b/c they're just young, want to experiment when out of high school, and leaving to other cities. If you guys are trying and happy, then keep it at. It's admirable. If you do break up b/c of the stress of the distance, well then... it's not the end of the world. YOu guys could get back together in the future or you'll find someone else.

Bono from U2 is still married to his HS sweetheat while the Edge divorced his.

The odds are against you but all commitment takes work and if your both willing to learn and grow and CHANGE (and you will change) together, whos to say it will end before you hit 20.

not so true.. I know a lot of people who have been together since high school. Its really a matter of commitment to each other and if you really care and love each other.

Usually people in high school are not mature enough to want to stay together forever. It's not that the love isn't real, it's just a lack of maturity that often dooms it.

True love last forever! High school realaionships might not all the time last, but if it is "true" love then it will last!

If you really care about her, distance shouldn't matter.
But if it doesn't work then it wasn't meant to be. You gotta give it a try at least.
