Everytime I go out with a new girl, I say look, I want you to know right now, that I would never get married without a prenup. If this develops into anything serious you need to remember that. My brother does this too, and told his gf this on their first date. Now she wants him to propose to her, but she refuses a prenup. I tell him don't marry her with out one. Love is grand, but divorce is a hundred grand. How would you convince a girl to sign one, without seeming like you don't trust her?

just tell them that if they really love you for you, they'll sign it. that way you know for sure they love you and not your money. I think it's a good idea for you guys to do that, and you let them know since day one. Make sure your brother gets that prenup!!!! Just tell her, it's not that I don't trust you, it's just something I promised myself years ago, and I need to stay true to it.

Good for you guys to believe in this!!! Gold diggers be gone!

I dont think that's possible. Some requests, questions, answers that you have to give people arent always going to be pleasant, especially in this case. You made this decision, you put in on the table ahead of time prior to love... if love doesnt soften you to trust and risk, then stand by your original statement of a prenup. Say it's for your children and grandchildren, etc. It's valid. Good luck with that.

Just as Honey without Money, ain't Funny,

Romance, without Finance, is a Nusuance.

Contracts spell out particulars & set boundaries.

Some people are not ready for that for various reasons. Get someone with means equivalent or greater and see if she would agree to it.
