If someone used to like you but now has no feelings for you, is it right for that person to concider you as not existing?
And if it is how are you supposed to react?

Of course it's right. People are allowed to feel however they want.
How do you react? You move on and quit feeling sorry for yourself.

That person has the right to do whatever they want. If they want to "pretend" that you don't exist, then whatever. It is probably their way of trying to get over you. Interacting with you and pretending everything is alright is just torture if you love the person and know you can never have them.

You can try to talk to the person, but you just need to respect their wishes. If they want the friendship to be over, then you'll have to live with that. You won't be able to change their mind unless it's something they want.

It may be the only way they can move on. People deal with the end of relationships in many different ways.

You cannot control the way this person acts towards you, you can only control your own reactions.

The only way I know to deal with this is to accept the end of the relationship and try to put as much space as possible between yourself and this other person. It will make things easier for both of you.

It's is okay to ignore somebody you used to like. The best reaction is to ignore them back. A good life is the best revenge.

Nobody ever has to apologize for how they feel, including you. Let him be. Your friend sucks by the way.
