No one said they should.. Bible teaches to Honor thy Mother and they Father. Not to treat them as Gods.

No parents should be treated with respect. Since where does it say that parents should be treated like they are God. Get your facts straight.

Parents shouldn't be treated as a God... unfortunately young children do view them that way. If Mom or Dad says it is true, it must be true... an influential power many people should never have, and many need to understand better.

yes we must respect, love and treat them as god. god created our parents to create u & me!
can we see god ! Yes see into your parents. They are the real gods in front of your eyes! God is hiding in them for you ! U dont have to ask for blessings, they permantly pouring blessings on u.
Mom dies & gains rebirth when she gives birth to you. They sacrifice themselves to feed u the milk.......They save each penny for the babys stomach. They stop extra expenses to look after you.
I hv seen in many families that smoking and Drinking dads have stoped bcoz mom says "my child may follow your habit"
They protect u from natures' disturbances by keeping u in a home when u r a baby and still they continue the same. U didnt have a chance to confirm or verify the parents that they have a shelter to keep u safely before your birth.
U may have known people friends, but u think how its all, bcause of what? bcoz of the right blend of love and affection with right attituede u reciprocate to them. luv and affection, right attitude comes from parents only.
Parents teach everthing u want. Teaches to speak,write, behaviours etc.....
If u make mistakes in life, your parents are affected first and then you. but really your parents wud stand first to save you or to correct u.
U discuss any sort of issues, only the parents wud favour you. They knows your character, attitude, expression, your feelings, your each and very movements and everything. Be loyal to your parents. Dont go to pray in the church/ temples/ masjids if u fail to worship your PARENTS.
I hope, no one should do researches on this Q.

well all i would say is they are not been treated as God cause there is only one God and they are being honoured.i think you thing they are gods because u have to respect them since they are in charge of bringing you to life

Your parents bring you into this earth by giving birth to them. Your mother suffers birth pangs, protects you in her womb for 10 months and bears the pain smilingly for you.They bring you up with care and make many sacrifices themselves so that you can enjoy your life when you grow up. That's as close to unselfish care as you can see. Only God cares for you in such a way. So you have got your answer I guess.
