I ask this mostly to people who understand Quantum physics but I'll try to clarify.

Quantum physics states that nothing is real until we observe it. That is that outside or our observation, reality ceases to exist as we know it. The proverbial tree that falls in woods with no one around is not only not heard but doesn't exist.

Can you really prove that what you observe is real at all? Or is there something deeper here? Perhaps this isn't the real world but there is a deeper more solid world behind the scenes.

Quantum physics is the best evidence for a spiritual world beyond the backdrop of what we see in our every day life. Maybe we're getting closer to finding God than ever before?

I am no scientist, just an interested layperson who enjoys scientific literature. I admit up front that my understanding of quantum physics is basic at best.

It is an interesting proposition. I see nothing, feel nothing, hear nothing, smell nothing, taste nothing. Rather, my brain interprets stimuli of pressure, electro-static forces, light waves, etc. and formulates them in such a way that I experience the world around me. My world is a hologram, yet it is real to me.

I think one of the answerers said it best, we need to understand more about quantum physics before delving into making metaphysical assertions about the implications of quantum physics. I've read some books by Amit Goswami, Paul Davies, Stephen Hawking, etc., and they point to the possibility of a trancendent reality having left its mark in the quantum world (some of these authors more than others, Goswami being the foremost).

I'm not sure that quantum physics points to a spiritual world beyond or woven into our own. Rather, it may simply indicate that there is another world that we are only beginning to understand. It does sort of point to Plato's philosophy that our world is merely a world of shadow, while the true reality is imperceptible to us. Perhaps this world will come into more focus as scientists continue to study the quantum world, whether or not that will lead to a metaphysical reality is yet to be determined. But it is interesting nonetheless. Good question.

Yes it is.

There are two realms.

1 - Spiritual: what can not be seen, we can "feel it" and sense it and it is very real.

2 - Natural: what we can see, hear and touch...very real.

Each of us has our own reality (what happens in our mind). That is of the natural world.

When we are sharing it with others (life in general). It's not only our reality...it's theirs as well. Again, natural world

Faith and Belief in God / Jesus is from the Spiritual world and is mixed with the natural world too.

In Christianity, Jesus Christ came to this world (not to condemn it but to save it, John 3:17). He walked the earth. It is not only in the Holy Bible but also in Greek and Roman history. Jesus of Nazareth, lived, paid taxes and died on the Cross at Golgotha.

While He was here, He was a teacher of His Father's Word. This is what got Him crucified. This is also backed up with additional historical documents beyond the Holy Bible.

So...closer to God than ever before...perhaps. Time is drawing near when He will come back and claim the earth for a 1000 year reign. However, we don't have to wait...we can talk with Him anytime, anywhere...about anything.

If we will quiet our spirits...we can hear Him speaking to us.

Grace to you and God Bless!

P.S. Something to ponder...

There are many people involved with witchcraft; it doesn’t matter if it's white or black magic, calling up evil or good spirits, fortune telling, numerology, horoscopes, etc... Why do you think so many people are involved?

Because we know in our hearts there is a Spiritual realm. We seek it out in un-healthy ways (supported by the Bible). We seek that connection and that's why some get involved in the above mentioned ways. Why not get your Spiritual fill in a healthy way…through Jesus Christ?

I don't know about quantum physics,I do know metaphysics and have had many "transcendtal" experiences. Science should join with metaphysica. Evolution prove GOD exists. one must rise above the human senses to experience GOD and reality.

" the clouded mind sees nothing. " ( quote from the movie The Shadow ). perhaps there is more truth to this statement than at first thought. as we know that not everything is as it first appears. OK so if I want to develop a cynical attitude this is my choice. there are many here who ask questions and many who answer them ( including myself ) who are trying to gain and share wisdom and knowledge but are we actually gaining these or in reality just showing our ignorance as to what we think we do know.

You had better get better acquainted with the basic principles of quantum physics to reduce the temptation to confuse it with pseudo philosophical sophistry.

BS. Spirits and gods are by defininition supernatural and therefore beyond the realm of scientific inquirey. If you need proof to believe, it's time to stop believing. Such proof doesn't exist.

1 Ti. 6:19 speaks of the "real" life to come--in fact this reality that we live in is only temporary.

Hmmmm.... Well I would be delighted if there was a spirit world. I dunno. I think we still need to learn more of our surroundings before we can make a definite decision. Good question though.
