Do not know, so this may be pointless, but perhaps interesting ...
I use "red" deisel in my narrowboat, which, not being a road vehicle, is perfectly OK, and about 70p a litre, if you know the right boatyard. Funny how so many boatyard owners drive diesel
cars, with dribbly red stips near the fuel tank input ....
Not for me to say, but knowing a local farmer with a big tank of red, for tractors etc. of course.
The old dodge of putting in a loaf of bread into the tank to absorb the dye is now no good.
No> I'm not on a "fiddle", and give the Excise folks what they are due to.
But, there is a big difference between tax avoidance & tax evasion.
As for the London bus system.I fail to compute the amount of fuel used daily.
A lot. Shall we say.
