Well. yes and no... like 2 sides to a coin. Pride is an impt part of our human make-up, but this is pride that is constructive rather than harmful. As with all things human and emotional, too much of a good thing is bad, which is why "pride, taken to an extreme, is a detriment to Peace".

Why is pride good? Well, without pride, we will not dress up properly, shave, keep ourselves and our homes clean, etc.

Yes! When pride gets in the way of the common good for ALL then it is a detriment to peace.

Only an arrogant, excessively prideful nation would attempt to force its twisted definition of freedom upon the world through the use of threats and weapons. The answer then would be yes.

yes, unless people start putting all their effort into being peaceful. Should that happen everyone in the world would have the same thing to be proud of.
