If took a couple of hits off of a joint on a Tues and got drug tested on that Thurs, will I test positive?

Ya it showed, prob on the low side though. It stays in your system for 2-4 weeks, there is no way to flush your system, or hide it contrary to popular myth.

That all depends on how often you smoke. If you don't smoke daily, and just smoke once in awhile (like once a week or once a month), then there's a good chance it won't show up.
