Ooooh nice. Yes, for me there is a big difference. Talking on a computer, you can see what you said before it is recieved by the one you intend it for. I often start to type one thing, then backspace it away because I read it and it's not what I really wanted to say. Face to face or on the phone, your words are not so easy to take back or refine into what you'd want them to be.
I find touch to be intoxicateing, even a casual handshake is often very exciteing to me, when given by certain people. It's odd, I know. But that's one of my quirks.

Talking on the computer is a little easier for me, to get my thoughts out, but in talking on the phone I can clear up misunderstandings a lot easier. And yes, depending on the person, touching someone's skin could turn my world upside-down.
The only kind of talking that truly changes my world with someone is talking in person, face to face, because then I can see an expression, and body language is very important.

Well the biggest difference can be conveyance of certain emotions.. sometimes they just don't come across correctly as a written word as they do with the inflection of someones voice. However, talking on a computer can make the world go loopy.. been there done that.
For me, talking on the phone doesn't but I do when I have to. I hate to talk on the phone.. too self-conscious.
