Absolutly love the fact I can get up and decide at the last min to go on a weekend getaway and no need to go back home and get my pills ect. I had a problem with the hormal BC and so I choose Mirena after finding out I was 9 weeks pregnant and on the pill. I had it inserted 4 weeks after I delivered and its now been 3 years and I LOVE IT. I spotted the 1st 3 months but that cleared up after the 3 montsh and Ive been period free since

Several years ago I had a copper bearing IUD, loved it. Now they are talking about putting in a low hormone IUD and am looking forward to it. No hastle and most times no period.

hey i have an iud i got it last nov after having my 2nd child in oct....
i have not had any problems, i am very limited to what type of b.c. i can use due to getting blood clots from birth control pills and almost dying... the iud is a very low does hormone plus a barrier i would diffently recomend it to anyone....hope that helps
