soup is considered a liquid as long as it's just broth. When I was in the hospital I was on a liquid diet (broth, clear juices) then I was moved up to what they called a "soft diet" ( cream of wheat, pudding, jello) I would assume yogurt and ice cream would fall within the "soft foods" category

Scientifically speaking, to determine if a matter is liquid, solid or gas, you have to look at the original state at room temperature. Ice cream is normally liquid, so are jello, yogurt, and pudding. Therefore, by means of conclusion, they are liquid.
Hope this helps :)

Off the top of my head, I would say they're all solids, except for soup, because they hold their own shape to an extent. yogurt, and pudding could be considered in-between solid and liquid, though.

soup and jello before you put it in the refrigerator are considered liquids. Ice Cream, yougurt, and pudding are considered solid because they have milk in them. Anything that is dairy is hard for your stomach to digest so the doctors considerr them to be solids.

Soup would be a liquid, jello was a liquid before it denatured, not it is a solid. This is too easy, you need to think this through. Is this homework???

Because you don't usually have to chew them, they are considered liquids. If you have to chew anybody's pudding, it must be British.
