depends on the guy. men takes longer to be mature enough and settle down in a relationship than for us. when guys realize that they need to settle down most of the time it is too late. what makes a guy want to have a relationship is basically the answer to your first question. if the guy shows a mature behavior, and he says confidently that he want to be in a serious relationship he is showing that he is mature enough to settle down.

I think a typical guy is ready to settle down at around 30, maybe a little after 30. It totally depends on the person though. Some guys should never even try to be monogamous because they lack the willpower or discipline to see it through.
Some guys who never should be monogamous or settle down, because they never truly want to, make the mistake of assuming EVERY guy is like them. But everyone is different - just because one guy has never truly wanted to be married, doesn't mean everyone is like that.

I honestly can't say-I have been engaged before, and in many long term relationships, but when it comes to moving on, getting married, or moving in together, none of my guys came through-but that is not their fault-it is mine-i have a history of poor choices in men-they are all freaking mama's boys and would rather live at home until they are 30 and not go to school and let mom cook their meals, make their beds, wash their clothes, make their appointments, balance their checkbooks, buy their groceries, and go to the bank for them----------so none of the guys I know want to settle down.....just my experiences-------SuzyBelle

Guys say they want to settle down and have a relationship, but then they go out and cheat on you. So I think they will never grow up and want to have a relationship. They just say they do!

There is no set age for men(or woman for that matter) What makes anyone settle down or know its time to settle down? I think the answer is when you find the right person, no matter your age.

LOVE!!!!
I met my husband when I was 13 years old and he was 21 years old and we have been together ever since. I got married to him when I was 21 years old. so we have now been married 13 years.
And I have two wonderful children, a pain at times. But then what child isn't!!
I am now 33 years and my husband is 41.
And we love each other a lot and trust each other totally.
This is what you need. And you will know when it happens to you.
Guys will settle down when they are ready too, there's no age, it can happen what ever age. If they want it to.
I hope this has helped you out.

26-30 usually is about when guys start to think about settling down. They have had their fun in college and out and have realized that they will be truly happy when they have someone to be with to take care of and be taken care of by.
