The honeymoon's over! Everything in the beginning is so fresh and exciting, but it always wears off. Now you have to actually put effort into enjoying it. Do you do everything the same day after day? For example, do you take the same roads everyday to get to work and school? You have to break the monotony of your routine. Try taking a new route when your driving. Try something different on your lunch break. Go sit under a tree somewhere once a week, (not the same day every week) and read a book of poems, instead of doing your school work. Don't sit in the same desk every time you go to school, if that's on option. Go to a coffee shop to study for school and enoy a caramel machiatto while your studying. Enjoy the sceneary when you're driving. Got mountains close by? They are my favorite! You have to make life exciting and enjoyable for yourself. No one else is going to do it for you. If your saying that you don't have time to do this, you have to make time. Become more organized and efficient. I couldn't live life without those two words! I'm a christian and I recently heard of an acronym for busy: Being Under Satan's Yoke! Kinda scary huh?! You must learn how to do life with Gusto! I hope this helps and have fun!!!

Hi I am not sure if this will work for you or not, but I feel the same way as you, well at least I used to, What I did was made a favorite cd of music that I love and instead of the alarm going off the cd does, also putting the clock ahead an extra 5 mins just to enjoy it, and you lay there and sing one of your favorite's, then you should have some motivation to get up, thus the extra 5 mins, It works for me, I put on music that makes you wanna dance and sing such as: dixie chicks-don't wanna make nice, works well and sounds great, Good luck

it's likely if you stopped working the same would be true at home
I struggle with this too...I like to help others, hence Y!Answers
I like being a super hero for other yet don't help self
but if there is a call for distress, suddenly I have purpose and I go all out
I thin that came from former religion of self sacrifice and exteral 'good works' that were considered 'for god' but still a person benefited and you gave your efforts away
as long as you felt good they patted you on back
find what you feel is your purpose, pick a direction, then decide what you need to motivate you, even if it's selfishness and greed
after all, you can't escape but you CAN mask self interest
figure out what you are drawn to or attracts and interests you, then feed and nurture that
I like creative things like cooking, what do you like or enjoy,
crude translation...what gratifies you most and how can you make that a regular event without it becoming a high or addiction, but an even pace and norm?

Set yourself small reachable goals, work your way up to it. Diving in at the deep end is difficult for anyone so try taking it one step at a time. Set weekly goals then reward yourself with something you enjoy when you reach that goal and stick to what you set yourself. Good luck!

make a list of everything you need to do just for one day and at the end of the day see how much you did. I bet its more than you think. Are you sure you are not just exhausted?
