I have a son and I pray with him pray helps anyone and you can pray with your friend. But see I do not pray with him on a schedule I pray as a life happens we thank him we ask for things we pray when he is sick so he learns that is not just a ritual but a daily part of life something that you need to do as part of life as it happens like when you are thirsty you drink when you guides you read the bible and when you need assistance you pray and you always thank and praise him no matter what you are going threw. he ha really learned and isn't afraid to use even with his friends because it is what he is not a ritual we make him do at night.

I'm an older lady, and my parents are gone home to be with the Lord. I can remember tho as a child that the whole family would kneel while my father prayed. I was so privilaged to be brought up in a Christian family.

I agree with your comments wholeheartedly, and the saying goes, a family who prays together stays together. It certainly does help when parents pray with their children

My parents DID NOT pray with me, but I have with my 15 year old son, and he is turning out MUCH better than I was at his age. Yes, a family that prays together stays together.

Jaylee, I think it would be nice for YOU to pray with her also to help fill that void. Peace.

This is a blessing for you and your family.A family which prays to gather stays to gather and pros pres. You should be rest assured in your life that problems as in ever ones lives will come but go in a jiffy . the power of prayer has been highlighted in every religion and specially so in adverse circumstances. If you all pray regularly no harm will come. In fact in many ancient religions when the father and mothers retire from their jobs they devote their full time for prayers which is very helpful to the future progeny.

Not really. Just the "Now I lay me down to sleep..." prayer. But I grew up and decided to try a different approach.

My husband and I always pray with our children. It is almost as if you can see the "load" lifted from them. Awesome.
