My daughter had severe excema when she was younger and recieved disability allowance at the highest rate and if I remember correctly it just carries on as long as nothing has changed! I remember the forms when first claiming - but only remember filling them in once!
Although this was 4 years ago and it might have changed!
Hope this helps

In general, all claims for benefits are continued and the review form tends to just ask "is the situation the same as when you originally applied or has it changed for the worse/better". It is basically to ensure that if your circumstances change, you don't get over, or under, paid.
The best source of information is actually the benefits agency you're claiming from. They'll be able to let you know what's involved in renewing your claim. It should be straightforward, but they'll also be able to be on hand if you do have to do the forms again.
Can I ask, what the condition is? I have Darier's Disease which is very, very rare, and just wondered if your daughter has the same.

I'm sure you've exhausted all possibilities. If you want more explore what you CAN do in terms of paid employment NOT WHAT YOU CAN'T DO to increase costs to the taxpayer. Think of your strengths, not your handicaps. EDIT Perhaps you'll not bother in case your benefits are reduced!! Contrary to what Alice B thinks of my comments these were NOT intended to be unhelpful and nor am I judging. Adopting a positive attitude to one's personna, utilising one's strengths can bring far to a person than just money. There will always people who for a variety of reasons are unable to work but this does not mean they are unable to utilise their strengths. These were some of my client base when I first started work in the Department of Employment. EDIT 11.12 14th Feb. Your additional details were not posted prior to receiving my answer and those beofre mine. I can't apologise for the others but if my answer upset I do apologise. I am really sorry that this handicap has arisen after so long in work. Even so focus on what you can do despite the difficulties. After so many years in work you obviously have a lot to offer and I wish you all the very best.

I'm pretty sure that you will indeed have to fill all the forms in again, I know that when my nephews DLA was up for renewal my sister had to go through this procedure again and again, however she did seek help from her local Benefits Agency Advice Line and her local Law Society, perhaps there are these Agencies in your area, it's certainly worth a few calls to find out, they were absolutley fantastic and helped her enormously

Your daughters immune system is probably in a state of collapse, hence the skin condition. She might not have to suffer as she is. May I suggest you visit the website listed below, read all of it, and then have a ponder.
There is a tendancy for people to read the science and let it wash right over their heads, indicating that the website is claiming to have a cure. It does not, and it clearly states that it does not. Well worth a visit.

Yes, I'm afraid so, can you not get help from one of the professional agencies to do this, the CAB or your local social services may be able to do it for you. My daughter-in-law does mine for me, as part of my condition is stress related, so filling those forms in makes me sick!! Good luck and good wishes to your daughter.

Unfortunately, the forms are almost exactly same. The usual questions about the amount and type of care needed. My wife had to apply and I kept a copy of the first application to help filling in the review application.

i believe if the claim is just a continued claim then you donthave to fill every part in again, as long as nothing has changed, but this form is very lengthy and with need of GP evidence
