As an Atheist, I would say no becuase to us, God is an imaginable concept, just like characters in a book or characters in songs. They are not necessarily real, but we sing anyway. However, an Atheist should not sing hymns or caroles for the sole reason of mocking someone of religion.
Atheists do not repent to someone other than ourselves. We can feel guilt for things we have or have not done, but that is the real extent of it.

There is no question of repentance for an atheist. Because he need to have no such disciplines in his life. The question of repentance arise when you have some spiritual law and order in life. Atheists are free from that.

Not all Christmas carols have anything to do with the birth of a messiah. Not all celebrations of Christmas have anything to do with Jesus Christ.
One can find beauty in art of any form, regardless of the subject.

We have to eat a plate of pasta.
kidding aside..
Atheist apologize and repent to the people they hurt, if they feel they must do it. They dont have to go through a 3rd party for forgiveness. We make things right directly to the people and not for the sake of making us feel better about ourselves before a god.
Its an odd concept that I can walk over someone and then instead of making things right with them, I can make things right with a god and feel better about myself.
feels a thumbs down coming on, but they are honest answers.

Of course not. An atheist simply does not believe in God. They are therefore free to like any music they wish without a problem.

Happily, non-believers don't have to fear a sky-daddy to which they must repent. They answer only to the society and culture they live in, and to their own judgment.
