Dont listen to that... Just because he didnt say I love you back does not mean he does not care for you.
For one, its only been six months and sometimes it takes people longer than that to fall in love. Second, if he says I love you back, dont you want him to mean it?
Maybe he has been in past relationships where he was hurt and he wants to make sure its for real before he says anything. Or sometimes it hard for people to say those words.
And its good that you told him, cause now he knows how you feel. It also gives you an opportunity to talk to him about it. If you want to know how he feels, you can just simply talk to him. Ask him if he is taking the relationship as serious as you are, and where he would like this relationship to go. If he treats you good, and shows you that he cares for you. Do not rush him. I am sure he will tell you I LOVE YOU, when he is ready.

i think he wasn't prepared and you kinda caught him off guard.
But not to worry, it doesn't mean he doesn't feel the same way. Guys find it harder to say such 'mushy' stuff so that could have been what he was thinking.
In any case, don't declare your love again in words anytime soon. Just enjoy being together and things will fall into place. And remember, it's only words. Take more time to look at his actions because they do speak louder :)

I knew a guy for 4 months before we started dating and after two months of exclusiveness i said the L word and he never responded back but.. started to act as if he could clown me,so when we got close to the end then he wanted to say how much he cared but it was simple to late....so for your case wait it out see what happens...respect that he won't say he loves you just because you said it...let him do it on his own terms..

I'm sorry to say this but ..He ain't that into you.
I know that you would never have said that if he was not gonnna reply.
Ask him If he is at all intrested in you and why waste his time on you if he doesn't want to love you back?
Just tell him that your sorry about before and i said the wrong words to the wrong guy...it's just i was thinking about someone else that i couldn't get my mind of.
If he comes back and say he love you he just trying to mess with you and get laid...if he does tell him you have no intrested.
Smile you don't need a bastured**.

You just took the relationship to another level. After some women tell a man that they start talking about moving in together and getting married. (Give the man credit at least he didn't freak out)

Listen, you only said that you are "falling in" love.
That's a HUGE difference from "I love you" for me.
Just act cool, he will have a time when he'll say that he'll love you. Bur for guys, that's a huge commitment in a certain age.

It takes some people longer to say the "L" word than others. Be patient, and it will come, if it is meant to be. Just be thankful for what you have.

I guess, he is either not really sure about his feeling for you or he still has being true to you. Give him sometime to think about it and ask him again. Have a open heart to heart talk with him.
Good Luck ;)
