Whiskey is still illegal to make at home in the U.S.A but, there are several "MASH" recipes out there to be had. Honey instead of sugar works great to make a smoooooother taste! Aging the mash a bit longer than suggested will also make a more tasty brew. Be real careful distilling and follow the directions to the PERFECT "T", otherwise, explosions can and do happen.

its not about the what, but about the how... provided you live in a societey where home brewing and distilling is legal, i am sure you can find a set of equipment along with recipes and manuals...
if not... dont do it. disitilling secretely is difficult and bound to lead to loss of quality.
