I used a combination of phentermine and phenfuroline (not sure of spelling) Phen-phen. it was prescribed by my doctor at the time I was using it. I used it for about four months and I really lost the weight. I went in for a refill and the doctor told me they were no longer able to give it out because it was causing heart problems and even several cases that included death. Now I do not use anything. I would be very cautious and make sure you are under a doctors care if using any diet pill. When I was using the pills I just felt a little nervous and shaky, but after a while on the pills that wore off.

Sometimes, that drug can cause problems with heart valves and cause arrhythmias. Phentermine will only help you lose one extra pound a week; assuming, you are on a diet and exercising. You should think about balancing the potential benefits and risks.
You can get all the standard anti-cholinergic side effects. Meaning dry mouth, constipation, etc. Sometimes you can treat dry mouth by sucking on a piece of candy.

I have a friend who's sister used Phentermine and lost 40 pounds EXTREMELY FAST. My friend decided to get it and she lost ovet 20 pounds in a month. Apparently this stuff is powerful and works. I asked my Doctor for a prescription and he told me no Point-Blank. He said it was very unsafe and to eat a healthier diet, cut back on calories and exercise. So here is your answer....take it and possibly drop dead (but you will look so drop dead gorgeous at your funeral with the weight loss) or opt for a healthier lifestyle of diet and exercise.
