It totally depends on which island, and which side you're on. Most people don't know this, but there are parts of Hawaii that get snow in the winter.

Your best bet is to either pick up a book about Hawaii (or whichever island you'll be visiting specifically...I like the "For Dummies" books), or to make your question a little more specific ;)

Winter Weather In Hawaii

2016-10-14 02:46:43 · answer #2 · answered by Anonymous · 0 0

I went to Kona last year - 1 week before Christmas.
It was amazing weather there. About low 80s with a light breeze everyday. Sunny everyday. I was in my suitset and cover-up during the day and had a light sweater on at night. There was a sprinkle here and there for a few minutes then it cleared up. It seemed like the sun was always out on the beach.

I would pack a light jacket/pants for the evening because the Pacific winds pick up at nightfall. The sun rises around 6ish and it gets dark around 5:45pm. The sunset is fabulous.

You will have an unforgettable time. Enjoy the beauty and the relaxful nature of the people there. I don't think I have been to another place where the people were so nice. I wanna go back!!!

The majority of Hawaii doesn't change much. On Oahu the cities that are closer to the mountains get a little colder and it rains alot. But, all year long the weather is amazing, always great beach and outdoor weather!

In the winter months it might get down to about 54F and perhaps up to 80F depending upon your altitude. Some people will tell you that it rains every day... and it does... but the rain does not last very long and it usually comes about the same time every day so you can easily plan around it...

You should be able to find the temperature stats online for Honolulu or any of the major cities there.

It's a little bit rainier, and the temperature is cooler, but it is still warm and nice. I actually prefer the winters to the summers here. It's not as humid during the winter than the summer

I always traveled to Hawaii Jan-Feb-Mar and it was always great. I do know that October is the rainy season.. I can think of at least 4 couples that went to Hawaii for their honeymoon in October and got rained out.... I did warn them and they regret it
