IT WOULD DEPEND REALLY ON WHO GOVERNED SOCIETY.IF IT WAS OPPRESSIVE DICTORIAL REGIME(EG NAZI,SOVIETS)I GUESS PEOPLE WOULD BE TO SCARED TO OFFEND,AND THE PROBERABLE PUNISHMENT OF DEATH WOULD STOP ANY REOFFENCE.
IF IT WAS PEACEFULL CO-EXISTANCE,THE ROT WOULD BEGIN A YEAR,THIS BECAUSE WE AS HUMANS CANNOT CO-EXIST UNLESS ITS FOR SOME SORT OF SELF GAIN.CAPITALISM PROVES THIS!!!

only if crime was a genetic thing. which is difficult considering crime is a social construct..... how can we be genetically inclined to do something society created?

unless maybe there is a gene for being socially deviant. but this still would not take into account the people who commit crime due to poverty and not having the things they want.

you need to consider the millions of reasons people commit crime, which is difficult when you consider how many different crimes there are. a woman may solicit to feed her child, a young male may assault due to provocation, a business man may fraud through greed, a normally law abiding person might buy a pirate dvd thinking its not a 'real' crime, a disillusioned teen may take drugs to escape the difficult reality of their life...... i could go on but you get the point.

First of all there are more criminals out there without criminal records....they just have not been caught. Secondly a criminal mind is not necessarily a genetic trait. Crime will never be eradicated because people have different perceptions of what crime is and differing moral codes and ethics.

that is a good question! I live in a small town and get to see family's that have been here for many generations! Unfortunately your plan will not work. Some people who have children you would think would turn out to be criminals are the opposite [ the dad is in prison and mom is a floozy] . Then there are other family's who " Have It All" and their children should be shot! Just my observations on the subject!

no it wouldn't disappear, and why should the offspring of criminals suffer? they are innocent until they break the law personally. The levels would drop purely cos of less people, but would start to increase on a daily basis I reckon, about a week?

One thing you must know is that everyone is a criminal its only the degree of criminalty that is different. The other thing is that most of the criminals have not been caught yet. If you want to eliminate crime and criminals just kill everyone.

1.No,most likely not. There are people in our everyday life that will commit a crime, and if we were to remove them and their offspring from society, there wouldn't be that many people left, and the ones left would probably be babies..
2.Well,since there would only be babies left,it would take a while.

Something along the line of what you are asking.

They moved all the criminals to a remote hostile island long ago. The criminals began to form their own society. It's called Australia now.

That is one hell of a question, and requires a lot of imagination and speculation. I like the first part though ~ the bit about removing criminals from society.

How would we remove them?
Death? Blast them off into space.
would seem a bit harsh for some crimes.
