Not that I am aware of but I know what you mean. I know of six girls all due within the next six months. When I had my girls I felt like the only pregnant person in the world. Now I feel left out.lol.

I think that parents have a lot of questions, and having their Q&A answered by experienced parents helps them out a lot, hence the abundance of questions. It does seem like more young people, myself included, are having or are raising babies. Myself, I have not heard either way if a baby boom is going on.

There seems to be a baby boom going on everywhere. Must have been a cold winter or really high heat bills, so people kept the thermostat turned down and everything else turn up!

well this is the pregnancy section for questions first of all. and yea there ia alot more babies bein born by younger females. but the 25 and up ppl and the ppl obessesed with their careers arent having kids. and the couples that are having kids arent have the large amount of kids like generations before us, so the young females having babies is getting balanced by the career women not having kids or only having one or 2.

When I preregistered at the maternity ward 3 weeks ago they said that there had been a baby boom recently...overflowing the number of designated maternity rooms they had. She said they were calling them Katrina babies.

All I have to say is welcome to WW3! Theres a war going on and many men coming home for leave and going back just to find out their wives and girlfriends are pregnant from that one night of "Oh my god Ive missed you so much sex" I know thats how I got pregnant with my son. Same when we went through the other Big wars.

Seems so to me yes. Everytime at work and school and online I turn around somebody else is pregnant. Before long we'll run out of resources in the U.S. there will be too many people to support.
