I haven't but my husband did many years ago.
We were at a football game and his old girlfriend was there.... I said she looks pregnant (because she had gained alot of weight)
When she came over to us, my husband ask her if she was pregnant. He,of course, blamed me for the comment!!
He was embarrassed and so was I.
And so was she!!

It HAPPENED to ME! I got hit by a car, meds made me gain weight! It as all in my belly (30 lb) and the rumor was all around my son's Big Day Care, and I called an old friend that runs another Day Care, in another town, and she aske me, so, when is the baby due? I was like, what? She told me people where telling her I was pregnant! LOL! I was like, well, I gained a lot of weight (I use to be very anorexic, when we always went out) and having the belly, I was the talk of this Day Care, and didn't even know it! Now, I wished I was pregnant, lol! I have 10 year old son, and no excuse, as I went down to 150, as I am tall, 5' 11", and should weight 176, as an average weight, and now I am 200, all in my belly, but I need to take meds, for the pain, til I am able to have my surgery, as the insurance and Docs are fighting to get the surgery approved! Til then, I am one of those women, that look pregnant, and once I did state, I was pregnant and due in 7 months! Oh, they kept asking me questions! But, afterrwards, I laughed so hard, as I didn't like lying, but I don't like the way I look, but understand I look like there is a bun in the oven, so why not play along? My baby should have been due, last month, LOL! But grateful, I don't see those women!
But, all those who have asked about the baby to a person that wasn't pregnant, I woudn't take it personally, as I know, I WISHED, I WAS, lol, but to the point, I am glad not another child, as my son, right now, is ENOUGH, to handle, LOL! But, I got a new child, my FIANCEE! He is my other child, in away, Ya know?

yes I have and I was not embarrassed because people make mistakes. I'm not obese, but I was asked. I'm thinking since I was a size 3 back then, I can understand why she asked . I had gained some pounds since my son came along. Just a few.
A size 11 isn't obese, but it probably was for me at the time.

You know, As living Organisms, we're all different. As a proper human being you might want to strive to be a little more understanding of people and their maladies.
I'm 35 years old and have Spinal Arthritis and had to ride a scooter when I went to Disney World for my Honeymoon, and I got the evil eye from quite a few American tourists because they thought I was just "lazy" Not surprisingly, all the foreigners I encountered were very polite and good hearted.

That happened to a friend of mine who is a size 2 (and obviously does not look pregnant). She still talks about how offended she was. As a general rule I think you should never ask a woman if she is pregnant unless a baby is coming out of her.

Yes, I have. A woman asked my cousin when she was due.
I was shocked, but I wanted to laugh, too. So, I covered my mouth. My cousin just said, "I'm not pregnant. I just have a few extra pounds around my waist. Can you suggest any exercises?"
The woman laughed and my cousin's been best friends with that girl for two years, now.
