I don't know how to get him to get intouch with his romantic side. He says he wants to be with me, but i need some romance other then sitting down and watching tv :( And I don't want to have to always give him ideas or be the one having to be the romantic one all the time. It's nice to be on the recieving end at times. So how do i get his mind set on being romantic???

his mind IS on "being romantic"
--because you're such a nag about it

however,
write down 100 examples of
romantic things he could do for you
(so, they'd have to be possible)

write down 15 examples
of romantic things you would
like to do for him

give him both lists

(how you're going to get him to read them, i don't know)

but,
ask him his impression of the things
on each list

to tell you the truth,
he thinks that
saying he "wants to be with [you]"
is pretty damn romantic

sometimes we have to lead
by example

Wow that's a tough one. Some men (and woman) just don't have a romantic bone in there body and to us hopeless romantics that is just very sad and we cant understand.

I don't think you will be able to make him be romantic so I guess it comes down to whether you can live with a man that is not that way!!!! If you can then give up on the notion that one day he will be prince charming and except him for what and who he is and if the answer is that you can't then it is time to move on or you will be miserable waiting around for that time that will never come.

Good luck with your search for the truth.

I've been with my husband for 5 years, and the most romantic thing he's done for me was tell me romantic things he WAS going to do for me, but didn't get around to it. He proposed in the bathroom, while I was putting on my pj's. Either accept it, or move on.

you just have to make him watch some romantic movies so that he could learn how to be a romantic person like me,just joking but seriously you just have to talk to him and make him understand how you feel and what kind of person you want him to be

That sounds just like the situation i have to put up deal with. My bfs the same way. What you need to do is definitly need to get him to get advice from someone that is. but then you need to also reminder romance can be in little things like him telling him your beautiful, or smiling at you with love, or opening the car door. romance is love.

The truth is: he doesn't care enough to be romantic. Sadly, many women accept that. If we love a woman, we should make everything we can to make her happy. There is no way for me to be happy if my woman isn't happy.

I suggest that you need to find another guy if he doesn't know how to be romantic.

We should accept the man we love for what and who he is instead of trying to change them into what we think we want.
