If a Church is preaching and teaching the Word of God: That Jesus Christ is the one and only way to Salvation, then it is a true Chruch. If they are preaching and teaching anything else, then it is a cult

Hey I'm in the Assemblies of God church, and people have called that a cult. I've heard Mormons called a cult before. But, what exactly are you talking about?

If a duck is a duck you don't call it a cow.
If it doesn't follow the bible, it gives out false prophecies and tries to control it's followers through threats and manipulation then what do you call it? A nice social club? Cause you can't call it a Christian church. Christian means to be Christ like and none of those above traits are Christ like at all.

Any church that doesn't accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior is a CULT. Read the bible. John 3:16

Do you know the definition of a cult? i don't know what case you are talking about, but there are cults out there. Many cults use the bible, which they have added to or took away from and are in deed cults. You need to be more specific.

This is the standard, does the church follow the Word of God? If the church doesn't, it is a cult.
