You cannot base your faith on how you "feel". Our emotions will always fail us, or else we would be able to control them better. Also if we were to be meant to be run on feelings, the Lord would not have told us to "practice" the fruits of the spirit.
So, find a new Bible Study, do some work at your Church, go feed the homeless or something, or find a Church...But don't stop going. Bible says not to forsake the fellowship....
I get so sick and tired of CHURCHianity. But I continue to go. Know why>? Cause it is sooo easy to love people who are lovable, but it is very difficult to love those that are UNlovable...And if we are to bless those who curse us (which He meant literally), then who am I to complain when UNlovable, mean, sarcastic, self righteous people are placed in my path so that I can "practice the fruits of the spirit"
Hope this helps and encourages you...email me if you want for encouragement or just talk

Good enough for what? Listening to Christian music and volunteering are awesome. If church bores you - then ask yourself why. Are you being challenged to grow, do they offer mission type opportunities, do they have "fun" stuff for your age group. Try and think what would help encourage you and then possibly see if others would like to start a group with you. sometimes the fellowship is more important than the church setting, or make an appointment with your pastor and encourage him to give messages on issues that are important to you. If all else fails go on field trips to other churches and see if they offer what you are looking for. The key is to challenge yourself to grow in the faith.

.........May I ask?
1. Do you go to church to worship, to bless others, to be edified, and to receive instruction? (Right reason)
2. Are you most interested in being entertained? (Wrong reason)
3. If you are young person, the form of music in some churches may not interest you - perhaps there are other churches that have newer, more current songs and musical styles that you would like, and you could go to one of them.
4. Hebrews 11:24-25 says, "And let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as the manner of some is, but encouraging one another, and all the more, as you see the day drawing near."
***The point is, to follow the Lord and grow as a Christian, you need to be part of a local church body. Christian "lone wolves" do not make in the Christian life; God has designed all Christians to function as part of a body of believers (1 Corinthinans 12 - 14).
5. Pray and ask the Lord for His wisdom, to lead you to a Bible-believing congregation where Jesus Christ is honored as Lord, and and where you can serve others. He has given every Christian at least one spiritual gift, to be used to serve and build up others.
6. May God grant you His grace and wisdom as you seek out a good church.

what is it about the church you go to that bores you? The purpose of church is for instruction and encouragement in your walk of faith and to be in a community with other Christians. If that particular church bores you, maybe there is no joy in that church! Try other churches...there are many great churches that have excitement about them. Going to church is not a duty, but it is strongly recommended for our encouragement and our sanity. Something about being a Christian and being able to be around others who go through the same things, is helpful!

"Good enough?" Is that what matters? I also do not go to church but feel that if god is everywhere then why can't I walk in the woods, go to an open field, sit with my children on the couch, ect. and talk to him? He has never needed a building so why do I? Live your life as a person out to do no harm. But remember to live.

One of two things, You are not interested in the Lord, in which case you need to search your heart and see what is wrong, or your Church is not Preaching the Word , in this case it is time to find you a Church that is doing something for the Lord

You have to feed your mind on Jesus's word. That is what church services are for. If church realy bores you then your saying the Bible and Gods word bores you.

Do you love your neighbor as you love your self? Are you born again? To you trust Jesus with you life and your soul? Have you repented and asked forgiveness of your sins?
If yes, then it is enough.
But finding a church is a good thing, and should not be shunned. I do not often go to church, but instead, I watch my pastor on TV, and spend time with other Christians in daily life. When I do go, it is to learn, and to spend time with those who also believe.
I mean... how can we know our brothers and sisters as family, if we don't spend any time with them?

There have been many times I have wanted to stay home from church for one reason or another, but have not been able to because the scripture says do not forsake the assembling of yourselves together.
